    Default Best transponder mount ever

Rickie’s Da Ducer has just been fantastic. I highly recommend it for LiveScope or any other transponder you want deployed separate from the trolling motor. Here are a couple of shots from inside the boat. You may notice the control rod is longer than normal. Rickie built that one to my specifications and did not even charge me for the rod or shipping. True service, for sure.

I have the same one on a livescope too. Best option out there. Wish i had that extended arm though. I feel I'm going in the drink sooner or later... Guess it wouldn't be the first time

Call Rickie up. I reckon he would make you anything you want. Cannot imagine it would cost too much. It is real handy not to have to stand up or move toward the Da Ducer. Perfect for the rigging on my boat.

You might be able to cut a longer piece if all thread and replace the handle.

In my opinion, all thread is too heavy. I actually used a piece of hollow aluminum and screwed a piece of cut off bolt on one end that screwed into the alum block and used the short controller handle on the other end. Worked fine but was not to the same standard as Rickie’s so I reached out to him. Far more professional and super light weight. Rickie is the ultimate professional.

I'll be adding a 24" replacement handle to my website very soon for those that might need extra handle reach ...

When you are scanning with the transducer, how much lag time is there between where you have pointed the transducer and what you see on the screen?
    Tell'em I'll be there.
