Livescope is a searching tool. I don't want it wider than it is now. You aim the Livescope and search the water and when you see your target you can go right to it! Just my opinion, I have been using Livescope for 3 months and I love it!
First you need to have a clear understanding of what you are seeing when you use it. Which states my only problem with it, I'm not sure which side is which with the down view section or exactly what I am seeing in the forward view. The use of a bridge pillar to determine this is a great suggestion, I will do this the next time the weather allows me out on the lake.
Is there anywhere on the Garmin site that gives a clear explanation of how this transducer displays?
