Only reason I said that is because it has been a debate for years. Based on some research, they can only sense through the lateral line within a short distance and their range of hearing is well below the transmit frequencies of the FFs. That might vary some between species (including freshwater and saltwater) but still way below the FFs. Squeaky seat posts, music, or noise through the hull and TM are closer to their range. We fish a lot of clear water and during spawning, can be directly over the fish with sonar on and no indication of it affecting them. Look at the Hydrowave frequencies and that will also provide some clues.
Kosmo, I believe dynamite may be the right frequency for Asian carp....
