Thanks Ricky , I can always get the true picture from your post. Basically what you are saying is the gt transducers with the Garmin striker 7sv should be o.k.. and should be for true down scan. Since I have mapping e/w gps on my other unit , this should work.....Thanks again for your help....crappie1133
