Which is best for Lakes around 10 feet.

I'm like Redge 3-5 MPH because i can't idle much slower than that. The old 2 stroke Mercury doesn't like it. I loose my side imaging at about 6 MPH. 50 to 60 ft either side gives best detail, I'm using a HB 998. (I can't go 40 MPH either but I have tried slowing down to 50 several times)

I'm assuming your question is pertaining to which SI frequency for your lake ...
Let me explain it this way ...
Spider riggin I want to see the very best detail possible of structure that is right under my baits ... This added detail of the 800kHz can help discern the fish from the brush ...and I'm not as much interested in being able to see things all the way to the edge of the screen ...
Searching for new structure I want see as much "acreage" as possible to find that new structure ...where I can pop a waypoint on interesting things in the SI image ... This added range of the 455kHz can help locate new structure farther away from the boat ...and I'm not as much interested in added detail right under the boat ...
-----
A common misconception in today's SI units is to be able to put the SI frequency on 1 setting and that 1 setting does "the best of everything" ... It just doesn't work that way ...
The 2 separate SI frequencies are each specilized tools ...each used for specific scenarios ...
*800kHz for interest in detail right under the boat ...
*455kHz for interest in things farther away from the boat ...
And in either frequency choice - frequently adjust the SI Sensitivity setting to brighten/darken the SI image...
