So, there is an option in the network menu to select which transducer you are pulling DI from so I know you are SUPPOSED to be able to view the dedicated DI unit from the SI unit. That said, now that I'm thinking of it, I've never tried to for two reasons: 1. I don't sit at the console (SI unit) with my trolling motor in the water (I have a cable steer so I can't remote control it) and 2. When I want to see down imaging from my SI unit, I just view the down imaging the SI unit is capable of.

There may be a bug that keeps you from viewing the DI from the SI unit, but you are SUPPOSED to be able to.

? #2- can you view Si off of a helix 9 si unit onto a 859 DI unit?
Yes, you must ethernet the two units together, in this case you need an ethernet cable of appropriate length, and two dongle adapters (the ethernet cable won't plug straight into Helix or 859s).

You should be able to network a Helix 9 and an 859, should be fine, but I haven't done this and can't verify that there are no issues. I only know Humminbird says your SHOULD be able to.

Here's a good video of how to set up the sharing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh35Dq1Ba4Y

Did the DI work on a full screen view like it usually does?
