Looks like 6.740 is the last upgrade they had. I'm afraid with all those upgrades downloaded in to the older processor that it might slow things way down or crash the unit. Has anyone done this with the 898. I don't know how old of a unit it is but that looks like a lot of updating. Maybe clfarms1 has already update the unit.

You only have to install the latest update ..... it is all inclusive.
I haven't heard of any performance problems with the 898 after installing the latest update.........That revision will have the "jigging mode" option with mostly resolves the 2D problems caused by the 6.57 release.
You could always wait and see what kind of reviews the Helix 9 gets. The HD version of the 898 has better screen brightness than the non-HD version. I'm not sure which one clfarms1 is selling.......It all depends on what kind of deal he will give you.
