Jason. Thanks for the query. The serial# is #104979402. I can't find any information on the transducer, but it has been several months ago. ...... UPDATE: Talked with a gentleman in customer service at Lowrance, I believe his name was Juan,very nice and professional. Since my unit was out of warranty (3 13-2013) He offered a replacement for $250.00 since they have some of these in stock. Since my 2D and GPS seem to work o.k.. The question: ( Is down scan really worth $250) I am sorry that I didn't get to evaluate down scan through this unit but I feel that I am better off than when I had the X 510 C since it didn't have GPS. Since I can't get DI, I will disconnect the 83/200-455/800 HDI transducer and connect back my HST-WSBL, I think I will be able to have GPS as well as 2D..... Jason, I again thank you for your concern The reason this was not sent on pm was I wanted everyone to know that I bear no hard feelings towards Lowrance. and would not think twice about purchasing a unit at a later date......I know of others who love their Elite 7 HDI units.
