Not it but you got me pointed in the right direction, thanks. A 2 GB SD Card (or microSD Card) that is formatted to the FAT32 file system.

Glad you got it figured out. I use a 2G micro SD card in my Lowrance Elite 5 DSI ... once for an update, and occasionally for capturing screenshots ... but, it did not need any "formatting".

Mine either, I never formatted my SD cards to use in the DF. I just plugged them in and they worked.

note that a 2g card will not work for chart select if you're planning on purchasing LM maps that way

I have a couple of Micro SD cards from old cell phones. One is 2g and the other is 4g. Just wanting to screen capture some pics and wanted to reformat them before using them. Thanks.

Format the cards in HBPC and the program will put them in the correct format ...
