Keeping the enhance menu open is a good ideal, like rickety said.I also think , running on 455 kHz would be best for locating blue gill beds.there's really not all that much to the settings.as long as the bottom hardness/softness stays fairly constant, not much need to adjust. (Blue gill beds equipmentwill show up real good) and also the blue gills, that are sitting in the holes
look at that picture rickie posted, then look at mine.both are on 800khz .both are getting dark not far from the center, but look how rickies picture is dark in real close.he's scanning a softer bottom than my picture.there's more of the pulses being lost in the soft bottom.causing the darkness.455khz would not have that darkness in close nor out at the far edges of that picture
