    The top image is from Navionics you can see the humps and contours on the bottom is the Lakemaster and as you can see the contours are not there can there be a setting that is noit set to show more details this doesnt make sense I have had Lakemaster chips when i had Lowrance and they were too detailed this looks what navionics used to look like

    This is an example of the difference that comes from mapping in 1' increments, as opposed to mapping in 3' increments. This very subtle structure is completely lost on the Lakemaster because it never crosses that 3' upper/lower limit required to create another contour line on the map.

    okay but my friends chip shows the contours like the navionics why won't mine same 2.0 makes no sense guess will dump the lakemaster

    That is a question Lakemaster should answer. I know they are continually updating maps, but I don't know if they will supply you with an update.

    They are no longer supporting 2.0 so as far as i'm concerned i wasted 130.00 will no buy a thing from gander mountain again

    I sure understand (and agree completely) with that decision. Retailers think they are getting over on people, when all they are doing is making people mad.

    Go under the Chart tab in the main menu system and make sure that "Chart Detail level" is set to "All" ...

    I didn't have one of my units set up to check that out ...... But Rickie could very well be right ..... It might be a chart setting.

    will do that right now but why does it show on navionic and not lakemaster
