    Default Lakemaster chip problem

I posted a while back that my locator when it came to loading the chart was really slow.I have an 1197 and 997 when under way it would reload charts and take 5 min. to load. I was in a friends boat he has the 1197 too and his charts loaded right away so I borrowed his chip and then my units loaded fast like it should be. the other problem is that the chip shows contours but not the reefs that i was on. I'm hoping that Humminbird can help me with this i have a navionics in now but really prefer the lakemaster. One more thing I borrowed a 2.0 chip like mine and the chip was completely different then mine what the heck. talked with HB will see what happens if I can send chip in to be inspected.

WOW what a disappointment after all the talk I get the chip back and they did nothing with it i'm not asking for a new chip just fix it if I hadknown that I was getting older chip I would not have bought it I think after this will stick to navionics a shame

Are you sure it's the same chip you sent, or could it be a new chip of the same version? Have you plugged it in to see if it acts differently?
