    Default ADDING WAYPOINTS

I just purchased a 999CIHDSI to replace my aging 788CI.
I exported the waypoints from my 788CI onto an SD card.
If I mark new waypoints on my 999, and then later import the waypoints from the SD card, what will happen?
Will the waypoints from the SD card "overwrite" the new waypoints so that I lose the new ones?
Or, will the waypoints from the SD card merely be added to the new waypoints so that I can see them all?
    Thanks,
    Ron

The only way waypoints can be removed from the unit waypoint library is with a manual "Format Nav Directories" command under the Setup tab ...

Or deleting them manually thru the waypoint management menu under the NAV tab ...
    -------

It would be a good idea to export your new waypoints to a SD Card and import them into HBPC ... Then also import the waypoints from your old unit into HBPC ...

Then you can easily edit the waypoint names to make sure you don't have any duplicate waypoint names ...
