Thread: Map Making

Here is a screen snapshot from my tablet using Oziexplorer moving map feature. The map is very accurate. This is the new lake bottom just before filling began. You can see the water in the ditch in the middle of the map heading to the dam and dam overflow. You can't make a contour map this accurate with Genesis.

I talked to Lowrance customer service. No one know much (bs) about the Insight mapmaker. The referred me to NAVICO map making division in Europe. Their English is not English to me. We are working via email.

I should be able to put this raster image of the lake on the HDS. I know I can put it on my Garmin handheld.
