I am looking to purchase a new depth finder with side imaging capabilities, and internal GPS. I currently have a Humminbird 798CI HD SI and a Humminbird 688 CI HD. I am looking for something with a bigger screen with about a $3000 budget. Currently my Humminbird 798CI HD has less than 100hrs and this weekend I was in 40' of water and the depths were going from 491' 300' all over the place. The 688 is only a month old and I used it this weekend and the GPS did work the first time I turned it on, had to turn it off and back on for it work. Also Lakemasters does not have any of the three lakes I fish in in Oklahoma. They are:

Bell Cow that was completed in 1990 and is mostly flooded timer and is 1070 acres.
Wes Watkins that is 1142 acres and was completed on 1997 and also has alot of flooded timber.
Broken Bow that was completed in 1970 and is 14,200 acres.

I also have the Navionics Hotmaps and it only has Broken Bow lake.

I keep hoping Lake Master and Navionics will eventually contain all three, I did a request to add the lakes about 1 year and 9 months ago, and the latest updated lake listing still did not show them, so I dont know if and when they will add them. It looks like Lake Insight contains all three of these lakes in standard definition.

I have read pros and cons about both Humminbird and Lowrance units and was checking to see what others may recommend. Needless the issues I have had with my Humminbirds are making me question my decision to use Humminbirds.

Any feedback or recommendations are greatly appreciated.
