Need recommendations

I'm going to be upgrading all of the electronics that are currently on my boat. This is my first boat, got it 2 weeks ago, so I am new to all of this.

BOAT -
1989 Winner 1660 tournament series 16 ft fiberglass
MK Power Drive 50# TM
HB 587ci HD DI (trans at rear not a through hull)
HB panoramic view FF (looks pretty old)

I don't know a whole lot at this point. I've been doing my research the best I can. I know that I do like DI, undecided on SI at this point but it seems like something people want. Not familiar with surface scan or what it is/does.

For the trolling motor upgrade I've been recommended a MK terrova 80# with ipilot. Not sure if I'll do the ipilot link or not, I understand it as I can do that later if I wish to correct?

For the console FF I know I want at least a 7 inch screen that is touch and I'd like to keep DI. Open to suggestions on SI and SS. I primarily crappie fish dipping trees, banks in spring, may do some trolling too. Like I said first boat, not entirely sure what I like/will do yet.

I'd like to stay under 500 on the bow FF and I'd like to stay at or under 1000 on the console. Just looking for some direction since there are so many options out there lol. Thanks in advance.

I would do the 899 SI at the console and 859 DI at the bow, go ahead and get the Link, have had them both and like the Link better. Since this is your first boat, my suggestion is take what you got and go use it for awhile. Learn about your boat and electronics. Find out what you like and don't like. Then you can make more informed decisions for yourself. You might find you need other things first before the latest greatest electronics. I'm making the assumption that you are on a budget so you need to get the best bang for your buck within your budget.

My suggestion would be to move the 587 up to the TM now. All you would need is a TM transducer or one of Rickie's pole mounts for using with the transom mount TX. Then you could spend all the more on a console unit....later on you could get something for the front that would link to the console unit.
