    Default 1199 down image screen issue Help


    Name: IMG_0489.jpg Views: 244 Size: 49.2 KB This is with the trolling motor off, yes it says 1.5 mph but I had shut it off to make sure this wasn't from the TM. All my other screens Si 2d etc are all good. But my di starts out crisp then these lines will fill the display. If I open the menu and adjust anything the line go away then start up again. Nothing electrical is running when this picture was taken. I'm new to this si di thing so maybe its a setting I hosed up. Any help would be great. Unit is only weeks old.

    Don't think any messed up setting would cause that effect. And there is no similar effect showing up in the SI images?

    Was it OK before and just start doing this?

    my 1198c si has been doing that since I got it over a year ago and also does it on SI and 2D

    This is a known issue in some of the newer software versions when the DI Enhance menu Sharpness is set to anything but.."Off"...

    With a DI view showing...:

    *Press Menu one time...
    *Cursor down to DI Enhance...
    *Cursor right to open it..

    In the DI Enhance window...:

    *Cursor down to Sharpness...
    *Cursor to "Off"...

    It was still an issue thru 6.740...I haven't heard any reports with newer versions than that...

    If anyone has the new version...6.8xx or 6.9xx...please test this for us and report back...(my 1197 doesn't have any this new available)...

    I turned the chart speed up to 3 and the di width from wide to medium then it was ok I'll post pic later
