    Is there a way to link a 798ci SI with the newer 600 series, like a 688ci HD DI?

    No, the 600 series units cannot be linked to any other unit.

    Afraid not chulai...only the 700 HD series and higher can be Ethernetted...

    All the 300/500/600 (and 700 non-HD) units are "stand alone" units...
