Why convert the Lat/Long numbers if you don’t have to?
Both your Humminbird units and HumminbirdPC can be set to display in an all degree format (dd.ddddd). On your units go to the Setup menu tab and scroll down until you find the “Position Format” menu and set it to the “dd.ddddd” setting. Your unit will have to be running in the Advanced User Mode menu setting to be able to see this menu. For HumminbirdPC just open the “Edit” drop down menus and select “Preferences”. Set the “Position format” menu to the “dd.ddddd” setting.
The all degree format is the most accurate way of expressing your position, though the ‘Birds only use out to the fifth decimal place, just drop all others after that. That is what the first and third sets of coordinates look like they are in but not sure about the second. Slabbacks is right in that you should convert a few of each set and check them with Google Earth.
If I can help, just shoot me an e-mail message. I don’t share anyone’s waypoints unless they are publically published on a web site or in a magazine. In fact I think that I have some waypoints for fish attractors from 2013 form the AGFC.. Anyone want them, just shoot me an e-mail.
