    Default Terrrova Link question

Recently bought a new Nitro Z7 and am adding all the extras to it. I am a firm believer in the Terrova with I pilot. It is a necessity in my opinion for spider rigging. I have a HB 798ci hdsi that I am putting on the bow and either a 998 or a 1198 on the console. I will be adding a terrova 80 with I pilot. I am trying to decide if I need the link. I have the terrova 55 I pilot with link and US2 on my Bass tracker linked with the 798 I mentioned but never actually used the link function that I am aware of. I can see the advantage of linking the two HB units together for waypoint transfers but I am struggling with the link to the terrova. Here is my question. How many of you have your HB units linked to your terrova and what value do you get in this. I understand what it WILL do but am curious how many people actually use all the technology and how it works. The US2 will already be a waste since I can't find a TM without the US2 and I don't want to spend the extra money on the link if there is no actual value. Thanks for your thoughts

Here is the advantage of the I link. All other I pilot features are still usable but a Lakemaster card is required for the I link to work.

I have a 958 up front 1198 at the back, I really like the link! If my fishing partner sees a waypoint he wants to go to he can just cursor over to it and hit goto. I use the link all the time. I also find the follow the contour very beneficial.

Thanks I believe the go to feature is key. With my other unit I would mark waypoints from the remote and then go back to them. Is that a feature available on the I pilot or is that a link only feature. Looking at the pics of the remote I don't see the go to on regular I pilot. Maybe I was using it after all.

The go to feature is on the I link.
