I do see that the image is not crisp or even clear. It this distortion specific to this model or is it cropping up in other HB units? From the little I could gather about the problem it tells me to steer away from HB and look elsewhere for a FF. Is this a fair assessment?

Boarbuster, in my opinion the fuzziness is related to the last update on may 10, 2013. It is not unit specific. I love my HB finders, but it is beyond my comprehension that they haven't issued a new software update. 3 months is a loooong time in my book!
