    Default Lowrance structure scan


    Why would my lowrance structure scan be fine one trip and showing a black screen the next. The sonar is fine just the structure scan. Its a hds 12 with built in structure scan

    Have you tried a soft reset? Soft resets flushes out a lot of crap from you non volatile memory. I am not familiar with the touch screens. Waiting on Billlybob to show up with hisn.

    i don't think it was on auto range. i did the soft reset and it didn't help so i did the hard reset and it worked.

    I am constantly having problems with my hds-8 Gen 2.

    Can you explain how to do a soft and hard reset?

    Good idea.....but that does not work for Billbob.....dont ask me how I know this lol
