Thread: new i link set up problem

just got a new 788ci hd,898hd si,and terrova i-link. got everything setup but like one adapter cord for 788 to ethernet hub. my question is why wont my 898 pick up my terrova, they both are plugged into the ethernet hub and ive got power to everything. 898 stayed on pc connect screen for 30 mins and still got nothing. can anyone help? couldnt get it to connect, so i went fishing and played with the new toys! i really like the set up if i ever get it all configured

The "PC Connect" issue has been reported on several different forums...(even on my own 1197)...

During startup..when the screen is on the disclaimer screen...wait for 30-45 seconds before pushing the Exit button...

There's some kind of glitch in the new software that hasn't been sorted out yet and the step above seems to be a "workaround" for now...
