Thread: Ferrite Ring

I'm not sure what the actual instructions say for installing ferrite rings but it seems to me that the rings should be in the Xducer cable adjacent to the head unit...

I would think that RF is bleeding "from" a 12v current "into" the sonar signal travelling thru the Xducer cable towards the head unit...

Then the ferrite rings could "arrest" the RF from the Xducer cable's signal flow right before it went into the head unit...

...just thinking out load...
