    The Xducer plug on the Terrova's US2 is a little different than the standard Xducer plug that Doug is seen demonstrating in the video...

    Just wrap it as many times as you can get it thru the ferrite ring....

    Thats why im confused...the plug in pic runs from trolling motor head, down shaft, to the plug in pic. Then goes from plug in pic to Fish finder....Is this not the right spot to unplug and wrap?

    Or does it just look like it runs to FF and just enters boat under the ff?

    Sorry for being a pain on this....I'm just getting conflicted info, cause i don't know these wires that are mentioned in the directions.

    According to what Greg indicated the instructions say to wrap the cable on the TM side of the gold plug seen in your pic...(this is the actual US2 Xducer cable coming from the foot of the Terrova, up thru the inside of the Terrova, and then to the depth finder)..

    I would ...::
    *unplug the gold connector in your pic...
    *pull approximately 24" of the cable (from the TM side) thru the ferrite ring...
    *start wrapping...
    *reconnect the gold plug

    Is there going to be enough cable for you to do this and the Terrova still deploy and stow properly..??

    I had the with my new 597 HD di. HB sent me a new power cable with a built in filter. They sell this cable for $35.00. I told them I had just purchased the unit, (HB has been aware of the problem for sometime) and if they didn't want to correct the problem by GIVING me the PROPER new cable, then I would just return the unit to BassPro and buy a Lowrance unit instead. They sent me the new cable with filter at no charge.

    Depth readings of any sort "out of the water" are not an indication of much of anything....

    Sonar only transmits thru liquid media....water...

    Test on the water and then post back...

    Rickie
    Hit the water today and the ferrite ring done the trick... I was even able to turn off the noise filter and no interference
