    I called today....the noise filter helped a BUNCH...but with the setting up higher, it made my depth jump around and very unstable.(Not sure if it will do this on the water??) They are also sending me a ferrite ring.....Hope the installation instructions are easy........

    Are you testing this out of the water...??

    Depth readings of any sort "out of the water" are not an indication of much of anything....

    Sonar only transmits thru liquid media....water...

    Test on the water and then post back...

    Yes.....out of water, Thanks...goin out wednesday. Will report back! Goin to put the ferrite ring on anyway i guess since they are sending it..... If i can figure it out! See different thread
