    Default Terrova us2

Quick question fellas. I purchased a terrova with ipilot and us2. This is the 2nd one ive got due to a bent shaft on the first. Question is i have it hooked up to a humminbird piranah max set up to the us2. Are they supposed to be so loud? The clicking from the transducer when lowered would drive a guy mad. Sonar is picking up everything fine but seems like its gonna spook fish. I never had sonar on the front of my boat before so this is all new to me. Thanks for any help u may have.

Not on my US 2 although it's on a Powerdrive I Pilot.
No difference as far as I know.

If the transducer isn't making noise, it isn't working. They all do. They get louder when the unit is struggling to see the return.

Yep. Normal. It is "rapid firing" looking for bottom.

Anybody that thinks theirs don;t click needs to get a hearing test. I can't hear mine unless I am right on top of it. Wife can hear it a mile away. Drat!!

Man thats a relief. The guy i called at minnkota assured me its fine as well. Just seems extremely loud to me. Fished out of my buds boat this past weekend while waiting on my replacement motor to come in...couldnt hear a sound from his although its not a us2 motor. This one u can hear in the back of the boat. Seems like it will scare fish. Thanks guys for the info
