Not sure what you did not like about PD? MIne seems easy to operate/stow/deploy and it has the added advantage of staying powered on when running from spot to spot, the gps is spooled up and locked on ready when I get there. Terrova you have to wait for gps to get locked on again after deploying.

By the way I completely agree onscreen viewing of spotlocks and tracks and extra storage are the main advantages of link.

Mine was an older version........I had to keep a hammer handy to beat it out of the storage cradle.........I think they have made some improvements but nothing can compare to the ease of the drop-away cradle on the Terrova!

Are the waypoints you mark put in a route? If so, that is what I am doing with my own circuit. Cheap too.

Canepole, you have to put them in a route then it will follow them, but this can be done by using the cursor and hitting go to in the sequence you want to follow them.. This is why I'm so interested in what you built.

    BullsBay,
.I had to keep a hammer handy to beat it out of the storage cradle
. I'm surprised it put off with your abuse for couple of years.
