    Default Trolling Motor Speed

I have a new boat with a 75lbl Minn Kota 24 volt motor. I am finding that even on lowest setting I an still to fast for spider rigging, thought about changing the pitch on the prop. Any other suggestions?

aka drift sock, or chains, or 5 gal buckets. Drift socks don't scratch up boats tho, but cost more.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

What you consider too fast? I usally run .5 or.6 in earlly spring and ,8 to .9 when water warms.

Are you saying that a 75 lb. TM pushes your boat at 1.2 mph on the lowest setting?

If your running that fast on the lowest setting......something is wrong with your speed switch on your trolling motor

Maybe not if it's a 5 speed motor then that would be 20% of max. Sounds about right to me. With my old TM I found an old
Maximizer but you can not find them easy any more.
