I can tell you from experience these cables will break at the connector end if you flex it a lot while connecting and disconnecting. It doesn't take too many bends to break the solid conductor wire. Navico needs to come up with a flexible pigtail cable (something like the US2 pigtail) that is made from stranded wire. The pigtails would eventually break, but would be a heck of a lot easier to replace than the cable itself. I have griped to Navico about this cable issue. Everyone should send Navico a gripe sheet email.
