I have the cable 24 volts 70 lb and I cut it down but would not advise cutting one down because if it is anyway like my shalf ,the inside gets smaller a few inches down ,so I had to drill out to put head back on,just something to remember before anyone cut any shalf,could not tell it was like that until it was too late
