Looking at your Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club patch reminded me of an email I got from awhile back. A Zippo lighter from our 67 cruise with the yacht club emblem on 1 side and USS Forrestal on the other, sold on Ebay for $300!! Still got mine!

I was in Cannes France. The women had harry legs and American cigarettes would get you anything you wanted.

Hey Don, Why does it not surprise me your lighter looks Brand New after 50 years! Mine looks 45 years old and hasn't been in my pocket for 44 years! Don't let Boscoe or Crappie Farmer see this post, They'l swear you were on a Wright Brothers recovery mission! LOL!

Didn't stop over here. Amazing going into the Straights of Gibraltar, Europe to the left and Africa to the right and both in sight.

I flew into Santa Maria, Azores (A3D) rescue mission after bad tropical storm. Took a bomb bay full of fresh water to the Latinos. All they wanted was Hershey bars and Winstons.. ha.

You know, everybody needs to experience a catapult launch and landing on a aircraft carrier. It's a real treat.

This is about Tracks. Little ancient though.
