You mentioned a new unit, have you registered it with H/B yet. If not, register it, then download the Humminbird PC program. With it, you enter the coordinates onto your computer, then download them to an SD card. Plug the SD card into your unit, and walla, they are now on your unit. Plus they are saved to your PC in case you need them again, or want to share them.

Yes they will stay with the unit. Not sure how many your unit will hold in it's memory, but you should find that in your owners manual. Just a hint, the program has formatted entry blocks for your coordinates, the first data is northerly numbers, but the second set is set for easterly. Make sure you change the E for a W. Otherwise your waypoint may show up in Africa. Don't ask me how I know LOL!

I’ll bet it’s the same way I know about it!

    bwomack,
I replied to your pm to me. If you have those waypoints electronically I can possibly help you get them into HumminbirdPC and onto the SD memory card a little faster than typing them in one by one. Send them to me via an e-mail message and I’ll see what I can do to speed this up for you.
