I'm in eastern MS, they have the Tenn-Tom, Pickwick, and plenty of GA, FL and AL lakes. It would
be useful to me. I hear Bass Pro may have them. Going to check and see.

Oh yes it would definately be useful to someone that is cover by Lakemaster. i will be moving back to SC in about a year and none of the lakes are covered........its a waste of money to me. I wish it wasnt though, it looks like an awesome feature......

The I-link follow the contour or offset contour is only available with the compatable Lakemaster chip, Lakemaster does not cover South or North Carolina, which makes it useless. This really disappoints me as I was looking forward to purchasing the i-link myself.
Because I was born and spent the first 6 years of my life in Beaufort, and lived the longest in any one place in Kill Devil Hills, and any place on the ocean in N and S Carolina feels more like home than anywhere else.

Yes, it would be nice to have LM chip for N/S C but you can create a route manually on any map chip and have the link follow it. Or you can follow a contour and record it and save it on the unit and have it visible, you can have 50 I tracks on the unit. Further you can save them off to an sd card and load what you need when you need it. So for me follow the contour is not the main feature.

Well, I waited, and waited, and waited, finally about a month ago, I ordered the Terrova 80# with iPilot Link from Cabela's, free shipping and no tax---backordered---, so I waited some more, but yesterday---IT SHIPPED. Yee-ha, should arrive on Thursday. Can't wait to try this thing out after all that has been said about it.

I also bought the Lakemaster card for the Southeast. I was glad to see the Tenn-Tom in HD since I live within 2 miles of the Aberdeen Lake, and also on the new card they have added Tennessee and Kentucky. I was really disappointed to learn after exploring the maps, that the Bay Springs Lake, part of the Tenn Tom is not charted. It stops at the end of the Divide Cut, and picks up after the Bay Springs Lock. So----if you want Bay Springs you'll have to wait because it it not there.
