The PC app may just be a card viewing app so you may have to insert the card to view the card data. Gotta_fish is also right to suggest that you may have to zoom in a fair amount to view any sort of useful data.

Alternatively, Navionics has another software called NavPlanner 2 capable of viewing Navionics card data. It is a more complete planning software so it may not be what you need but still good to be aware of!

In the Navionics PC App, if you zoom out (scale should be showing at least 3 digits), you should see clear brown squares around the zones that contain chart regions. If you don't see any brown squares (or maybe its a different color?), maybe the PC App doesn't recognize the card?

I would say close the PC app and restart it with the card already plugged in. That's how I see my card.

Anyways, software and technology is confusing overall, but I'm a stubborn guy

Are you loged in to the Navionics store? If not log into your Navionics account and go to page that shows your license status your are allowed 5 if you have downloaded the map properly it should 4 left basically you used 1. And you can try and reload the map.

Make sure the lake your looking at is listed for the card you have,Im in NC and have an East card I went over and looked at a Lake in Texas an I dont have contour detail of it .Not all lakes are on the card somewhere there is a list of lake for different cards.I know some bodies of water are not on every card.
