    You make a very interesting (and true) point here Achiro.....

    The HB advertisment actually shows the same triangle below the boat...this is probably relating to the actual HB sonar strength measurement at -10db...(but I think it is safe to say that the sonar beam actually does feather past that -10db range and will, in fact show objects that are in that small triangle...



    I need to get back in my 3d program and make those 2 vertical planes of the water column come closer to each other as the 3d rendering morphs from 2 dimensional to 3 dimensional and back....

    I enjoy a challenge..(and believe me this 3d program is definitely a challenge)...
