I have thought the same thing since they started coming out with these things. I used to run a 250 ton press brake for Vermeer, and when my shift was over, I could use any machine and make whatever I wanted. If I still worked there, I'd start making a similar product for a 1/4 of the price and sell the heck out of them. For a LSS-1 with the right trolling motor, plywood works just fine, as you can see.
