    I currently have my t/m hard wired. Thinking about new m/k maxxium; my buddy says that I cannot hard wire it as it pulls current when off. I need to plug/unplug it. Anything to this? Is he messin with me?

    Some motors need to be disconnected from the system when the batteries are being charged. Ranger typically hardwires TMs and uses a breaker/switch at the back to allow turning the TM off for charging.

    My V2 has power on the control circuit all the time. It draws about 100ma when left connected. Takes about 2-4 weeks to run a battery down if left unattended. Breaker switch or Perko battery switch woulud work as stated by CatFan..
