    Which is the best to see the screen in sunlight.....I see were the 1198 798 788 all have (led)....998c 898c have ccfl

    With the led backlight, you don't have to set the brightness as high compared to ccfl to get the same brightness.

    I have both and find the LED is much easier to see in the sun. The CCFL just cant get bright enough at some angles.
