    thanks, was wanting to see it on a tin boat, see several pics on the glass boats, still wanting to see the tin boats.

    I used one for my HDS 8 . They make a DUO attachment that allows you to mount mutiple transdjucers on the same mount. I have my SI and Skimmer both mounted side by side. I have an aluminum boat and it mounted very well to my transom. Just follow the instructions. Very good quality mount with all the hardware included. Their web site has multiple pics on all kinds of boats.

    did you mount yours on the transom itself or on the step under the transom if your boat has a step or recessed area under the transom like the picture above ???

    I do not have a step. Went directly to the back of the transom. Lowe 165 fishing machine. check stern mate web site. They have a pic of various mounts
