Great thread. Am runnin HDS 8 and HDS 10 linked with E net, LSS 1 module and Structure Scan. Have always had Lowrance and these units are tops. HDS 10 gives great separation of targets. Mine are Gen 1, the Gen 2's are out and give a structure overlay on chart. Not an important feature for me. I winter fish a lot and if I find a brushpile, I mark it. Got HDS 8 on bow. Can display my boat position relative to marked pile and stay right on top of it. No bouys, no wet hands. I don't have donut on Lowrance
