Here are some pics of my transom and with motor all the way trimmed down. The new transducer will be a little lower on transom though. Once I got to looking at it, it doesnt look like I will have a problem with the way the transom on the war eagle was designed.

Unless your referring to a different "overlay"...

tommy will be using only 1 xducer for his SI setup...

Sorry didnt notice that and I thought the Humingbirds dont have overlay either..

Tommy... Looks like to me you should be fine...

The HDSI xducer is longer than your existing xducer (about 5 inches I think).... But your clearance looks more than adequate....

Like I mentioned before.... Install your xducer and start trimming your motor down as you watch the full screen SI...blockage will be noticed on the side of the image that is being blocked...

Blockage will be evident when the side of the image being blocked starts to look noticably different from the other side of the image...

If I remember correctly blockage makes the side being blocked noticably darker than the other side of the image...

Looks like you will be fine. Make sure to keep it out of the way when the motor is fully turned and watch out for things under the boat that could cause turbulance or air bubbles.

the motor doesn't seem to be a problem.but mounting next to another object such as a transducer could cause obstruction that shows on si and di as lines near the surface.you see this alot with jack plate mounts were the transducer appears to be low enough but still pings the jack plate.if your transducer is not mounted low enough from the other transducer that you show in your picture this could happen. theres also something mounted on your boat just to the left of your motor that if your new transducer pings it,it will show up as as lines on that side
