I am REAL close to getting an HB SI unit but just thought of a question in regard to my possible setup.I have a 16/48 with tiller yamaha. I was planning on mounting the SI transducer on transom and then use my current unit on TM. My question is, when I have motor down ( not raised for shallow water) but down, and motoring slowly looking with the SI, will the motor interfere with the SI signal?

any info will be much appreciated. Just trying to make the install seamless and get as much info as I can BEFORE i get started
