If you don’t have a tester you can leave the motor running on a low constant speed with the depth finder on and remove the fuse. The screen should go hay wire. Put the fuse back in and the screen should clear up some. If you get no change try a new fuse also. Next, turn the sensitivity all the way down, turn the noise filter down, and run the trolling motor on the low constant speed. If you get bad interference here you can stop because I can’t help you. If it is clear, begin to turn the sensitivity up until you start to see the interference. Mark that setting. Then turn up more until you can’t take it. Mark that setting. Repeat this test while changing the noise filter to each setting. After your done see which setting gives you the widest range. These will be your acceptable range for your particular set up. Learn how to work within those and you will get enjoyment out of your unit. Most of the time you don’t have to have the unit turned up to get a good quality picture. I have tries every hint on the internet to rid myself of it but nothing has worked. I have however gotten it to an acceptable level. My next task is to get my deep water settings to an acceptable level.
I don't have ff hooked to TM yet. Only dash unit on the boat. Thanks for the tips
