Are you using US2? My boat has a 24v Maxxum Pro, it also had a HB 747C that was hooked to the US2. Interference was terrible, I tried all the ground tricks, checked for the fuse, my Maxxum doesn't have one btw. Called HB to try to get a choke kit, they wouldn't send me one. The lady I spoke to said they were for larger units bash. Finally I bought a traditional transducer and mounted it on the TM, all my interference went away. When I updated to a HDS I purchased the cable for the US2, it had the same issues as the HB. I installed the transducer that came with my HDS on the TM and my interference issue went away again.

I'm not going to say my issues could not be fixed some other way, but I got tired of banghead. Good luck.

Thanks CP and Greg... I appreciate it. I learned something new everyday it seems....

The interference I have is really not that bad. I just notice it when single poling from location to location. When I am scanning to find fish I am either on full speed with Tm or using the outboard motor. I actually have a choke that HB sent me a while back but I have not installed it. The wires on the choke look to be 10 gauge. The power wires I ran for the Terrova are 6 gauge and the wires on the terrova look like 8. It would be real hard to get that 6 gauge wire in those small 10 gauge slices and seems like it would further increase my resistance to my TM. I try to keep my battery life as high as possible since I troll often on high speeds. It also looks pretty ganky to be quite honest. I can live with the interference I got but will call HB sometime to see if anything else might work.

Here is the basic MK pwm and wiring setup the I measured with my meter.

If you are not using the US2, I would suggest storing it away from all equipment. It is a big RF transmitting antenna when not used.

this is strange looking picture.i have different trolling motor than you. but still i may be able to help.i need more info please. is your transducer mounted on the bottom of your trolling motor?.if so were do you have the transducer cable mounted ? if you remove your transducer will the noise go away? if so how far do you have to move it for the noise to stop? when you move your trolling motor to the highest setting does the noise stop completely or somewhat or no change ? have you installed any ground wires and if so were ?have you installed any chokes and if so were are they installed and how did they affect the noise that you have ? sorry for all the questions i dont remember if i read here what you have tried. one more thing have you tried going to the screen that shows the voltage and check to see if voltage drops when this happens?

sorry i just read above picture that you have chokes installed. but were are they installed.the cable that you are talking about that humminbird is sending may be the power cable with inline choke. this is a good ideal to install. if when trolling motor at full speed and no noise then this cable alone will not completely stop the noise.

It has been asked but never answered. Is there a way to disable the maximizers in these motors?

I have not went in setting to check all you asked about voltage. I the chokes have been place on power wire close to ff as possible. Also place a choke power wire on battery, also place on power wire close to power wire close as I could to we're wires come out of TM. I'm still waiting on the wire. I have powered unit up from a battery off boat still no help. I don't have anything hooked to the us2 yet. I only have dash ff hook up transducer om transom

    Not practical to do this.
