I would install one of those choke cables from humminbird and wire direct to the start battery (via fuse of course). Best shot.

The only problem I have now is the humminbird 597 DI on back of boat have a bad picture. Not clear unless I stop the terrova. What is it I need to do. Right now I have the FF powered to an accessory switch on the panel. I'm not sure what battery it's going to yet.
I have two trolling batt and one start battery. Any help would be great.
So far I'm loving the terrova

I would wire direct and be sure wires are not touching trolling motor wires.
Also try with trolling motor down without other fishfinder on. Could be interference from other transducer.
Thanks I'll have time to play with it tomorrow. I'll update

i had one that i had to hook to cranking battery .TM would interfear with HB . didn`t alwayes just started one day .
retired and now i will always fish
best of luck, it can be trickey to fix, that terrova/humminbird combo, take your time and don't forget to look for the easy fix, it's not always the mystery if seems to be.
For testing the ff? Without putting the boat on the water to se if it cleared up. What is my option. I haven't played with it yet so what's my best option.

If it is interference caused by the trolling motor running, it will do it whether in the water or not. Just let the motor down and turn on the unit. I would try it on the water after rewiring to be sure, but fishfinder she be wired directly to the cranking battery with a fuse. Be careful of transducer wire touching trolling motor power wires.
