That's all I used on mine. TM and outboard starter switches have to carry heavier amps, but not the fish finders.

this is why most of us have a means of unpluging our trolling motors, because a 30 amp switch cost a lot more than a plug in connector. And our inigtion switch in on control box. Also I would highly recomend buing a fuse block and installing it. hook all you devices to (pumps, aerotors, guages, lights, ect) this is your protection from a FIRE!!! I've peen an electricina for 28 years I've see the resaults of electrical fires a lot and its not a good thing. and DC fires are the worst!!!

That's a lot of amps Gator....the wire to carry that current would weigh more than the boat!

Any on/off switch will do for the TS3 as it draws less than 1 amp of current. The idea is to disconnect the TS3 from the battery so that it does not slowly discharge the battery. Part of the TS3 is a relay that if remains in the engaged position will draw a little current which over time can kill a battery if it is not constantly being charged. An overall battery switch like Gator posted a picture of is a good idea for any boat as you will know that everything is off when you leave your boat when you park it.

30 amps isn't that much. it takes a #10 AWG wire and if that weighs more than your boat you need to get rid of that inflatable and get a real one...LOL
