I found a chart with angles close to those and figured an average. I am almost positive those numbers aren't exact, but I mostly fish water <30' so a ballpark number is all I needed.

You guys with Navionics card, does it also cover ohio and mississippi river bottom topo? Are they on SE card or which one? What is the main difference between the 3 brands of navigation cards available. So, if you have to leave the Navionics card in the slot to see bottom graduations from Navionics, are u saying u have to insert ur extra blank card in there to save the waypoints? Sorry, I'm not understanding.
Waypoints are stored on the internal unit memory unless you want to export/save them. Then you would have to put in another memory card.
So far as the rivers are concerned, I believe you may have to get the SE card and the S card to get both rivers.
I have a elite 7 that i think is like the elite 5 how do you get thecard to download to your computer. It keeps asking what source created this file.I'm certainly not computer literate but I've tried all I know. Thanks Boliver
Are you talking about opening saved screenshots or the user data files? (.usr file format) You should be able to view screenshots using windows explorer and navigating to the Removable Disk folder and clicking on a jpeg file or right clicking and selecting a program to open images.
The .usr files can't be opened unless you download a program that handles this file format. Google to find one that will open it. Not sure what you will see or why you want to open user data files on your PC? I'm interested to learn if there's something useful that can be done with them, I also have the Elite 5x DSI.
If your computer is trying to open the files automatically when you insert the card, select Cancel or close the dialog window and instead use windows explorer to navigate to the Removable Disk folder and view the files on the card, then open as mentioned above.
Best of luck?
just ordered one these units and I wanna get a mount thats sticks it up the air a bit and is easy to take on and off for theft prevention. Any suggestions?
Yes they are. That's why when I found one on ebay for half price, I snagged it 6 months before I wound up buying the unit.
