Hey, our old buddy Moose1am is in that post! Interesting stuff Kosmo. Rickie, why wouldn't the 2d readings be the same vs. a dedicated DI? Tom can overlay his 2d over his DI and it shows the same picture. Are you saying that fish being shown on an older Hbird that is using the software to create the DI from the SI images are fish that are off to the sides? Or, that all DI's show fish that are off to the sides or not under the boat. I would agree with the software created DI not being able to show fish below the boat. But the newer DI's that have dedicated crytals should show what is actually down there. I can understand a DI image is actually back behind the boat but am trying to figure out what the end point is of the post.
