After talking with a lot of people I decided that the HB 898 SI would do well for the type of fishing that I do....Docks & Brushpiles..

I agree with Ernest Paty in the fact that I will probably use 2D & SI the majority of the time...I am not really impressed with DI yet...Maybe that will change as I get more familiar with the unit..

I know my friends Tom & Jamey will not hold this choice against me & I am sure both will help me out on the questions I have...

I will have to get with them to find out what dates I can come down for schooling...Rofl

I was told by a lot of folks that the HB was the easiest to use "out of the box"..I'm looking for "EASY"..:D

I will be using my unit at the trolling motor as that is where I am 95% of the time...

Don G, you can't go wrong with SI no matter what brand you get. The 898 is a very good choice especially since your number one requirement is ease of use.

Pan, he just got it because he found out that he could take the SD card out of mine, put in his and he would have my waypoints. lol................................
